Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:4-9

To assist good teachers, it's important to recognize that they are not perfect but are objectively qualified, instructed in truth, well-educated, and possess spiritual maturity and orthodox teaching. Subjectively, their sincerity is evidenced by consistent words and actions over time. Good teachers, often unknown pastors, faithfully strive and need support. Key ways to assist them include: praying for their boldness, wisdom, love, and grace; encouraging them, especially during difficult times like church splits; and carefully evaluating their teaching against the Word of God and confessions. When seeking a church, take time to know the pastor and leaders, ensuring comfort and alignment in teaching and expectations, and observing the manifestation of the fruit of the spirit.
